The Wilder Kaiser is 2344 meters high and forms part of the  “Kaisergebirge” (Emperor mountains) commonly referred to as the Kaiser Mountains which form a range in the northern Limestone Alps and eastern Alps. It consists of two mountain ridges, the Zahmer Kaiser (Gentle or tame Emperor ) to the North and to the South the Wilder Kaiser ( Wild or fierce Emperor ). The entire range is situated in the Tyrol district of Austria. The Kaiser Mountains offer some of the loveliest scenery in all the Northern Limestone Alps.
