Tegelberg is a mountain of Bavaria, Germany and stands at a height of 1881 meters. It is a part of the Ammergau Alps. The nearest town is Füssen. The two famous castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle are approximately 2 km away. The Tegelberg has been a hang gliding area since the 1970s and a paragliding area since this adventure sport became popular in Germany. Access to the summit can be made via the cable car and depending on the season the mountain and its surrounding slopes are very popular with both walkers and skiers.
