Mount Stetind is a remarkable obelisk shaped mountain situated in the municipality of Tysfjord, Norway and  was in recent years voted the ‘National Mountain’ of Norway. Its unique shape appears to resemble an anvil which  rises majestically from the sea and not unsurprisingly acts as a magnet to seasoned peak climbers, who each year make their pilgrimage to conquer this iconic mountain.  The actual climb to the summit is actually quite short and experienced  mountaineers describe the climb as easy, but for the less experienced a qualified mountaineering  guide is essential.
